About Me
I’m Niusha Afshar, a professional chess player, Woman Candidate Master (WCM), Chess Coach & FIDE Instructor, dedicated to helping players improve through clarity, understanding, and practical thinking.

I work with students from beginner to advanced level, focusing on strong foundations, confident decision-making, and long-term improvement.
Based in Europe, I teach students online worldwide and combine competitive experience with modern training methods.
My training focuses on:
• understanding positions instead of memorizing moves
• recognizing tactical and strategic patterns
• learning how to think during a real game
• building consistency and discipline
• applying ideas immediately in practice
My goal is simple: help you become an independent, confident chess player.
I teach students:
• why a move works
• when to apply an idea
• how to evaluate positions
• how to avoid common mistakes
This creates lasting improvement, not temporary rating spikes.
